Sam Lane is a chemical engineer and fermentation expert with a B.S. and M.S. from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (2016). He has a wide breadth and depth of knowledge around fermentation, spanning from R&D to industrial scale to downstream processing. Sam has dedicated his career to fighting environmental issues, including biofuels, agricultural biotechnology, food, and finally plastics.
